This Hunter from Burr Oak Knives has a Twisted Grind Damascus blade and the wenge wood handle is accented with ebony and a polished copper blade guard. The balance and feel on this knife in hand is exceptional. Includes a leather sheath with an alligator back strap overlay.
Mark Nevling, the craftsman and creator of Burr Oak Knives, discovered his knack for knife-making in 1987 when he created his first knife. He has continued in perfecting his work since that time, now as a full-time maker with a skill set that is evidenced in the exemplary knives he produces. Mark Nevling is also a volunteer firefighter and a certified first responder in Hume, Illinois; this gives him working knowledge of the particular needs of these professionals.
